Privacy policy

Your likes stay private. Your partner only ever sees the names you both liked. We don’t show ads, we don’t track you across other apps, and we don’t sell your data.
1. Who we are
Little Yes is made by The DataTree Tech, a Dutch business registered with the Chamber of Commerce (KVK) under number 42059203, which is responsible for your data. Questions about your privacy? Email support@littleyes.app.
2. What we store on your account
Your email address, whether you’re naming a boy, a girl or keeping it a surprise, the names you liked or passed on, your partner connection, the spelling you chose for a match, nudges you send your partner about a match, any names you asked us to add, and, if you turn on notifications, a notification token for your phone so we can tell you about new matches and nudges.
3. What stays on your phone
The surname you add, your filters, and your app settings are kept on your device and are not sent to us. Pronunciations are spoken by your phone’s own voice; nothing is recorded.
4. What your partner can see
Once you connect, your partner sees your account name (the part of your email address before the @), who you’re naming, the names you have both liked, and any nudges you send them about one of those names. They never see the names only you liked, or the names you passed on.
5. Your region
To show the right popularity lists we read the region set in your phone’s language and region settings. We never ask for or use your GPS location.
6. Searches
When a search finds nothing we keep the searched text, without linking it to you, so we know which names to add.
7. Who handles your data
Accounts and data are hosted for us by Supabase, which stores them encrypted. Sign-in emails are sent for us by Resend. Both only process your data on our behalf. We share your data with no one else, and never for advertising.
8. Purchases
If you buy Premium, the payment is handled by Apple or Google. Subscriptions are managed through RevenueCat (RevenueCat, Inc., USA), which receives an anonymous account ID and your purchase history so it can tell the app whether Premium is active. We and RevenueCat never see your payment details.
9. How long we keep it
We keep your data for as long as you have an account. Disconnecting from a partner stops sharing matches but keeps your own likes.
10. Your choices
You can remove a like, disconnect your partner, or delete your account from Settings at any time. Deleting your account permanently removes your email, likes, matches and partner connection from our servers.
11. Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or receive a copy of your data by emailing support@littleyes.app. If you’re unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to your local data protection authority; in the Netherlands, that’s the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
12. Children
Little Yes is for adults choosing a name. It is not intended for anyone under 16.
